Traci’s 14 years in senior living, combined with her own experience navigating care for her parents, have shaped her heart for helping families find the right fit. Gary, a U.S. Army veteran and personal trainer, has dedicated years to encouraging seniors to stay active and connected, building strong bonds through wellness and service.

The Heart Behind What We Do
We’re Traci and Gary Talley, the husband-and-wife team behind Heartfelt Senior Solutions. Together, we bring over 16 years of senior living experience, a shared passion for helping families, and a commitment to making this transition as smooth and meaningful as possible.
Traci's Story
I am 60 years old, and I have worked in senior living for 14 years. When I first started, I was drawn to the industry because of my own experience with a family member with Alzheimer’s. I lost both of my parents when I was in my early to mid-20s. My mom passed from breast cancer, and my dad later from Alzheimer’s. My dad was in his early 70s when he passed away. I was a change-of-life baby, so I grew up with older parents. This was in the 80s, when senior living communities were just beginning to emerge.
Fortunately, my dad had the funds for in-home care, but when that became too much, he moved to a nursing home as a private-pay resident. As a young woman in my early 20s, it was extremely difficult for me to see my dad restrained in such a clinical setting.
When I later began working in senior living, I saw the incredible difference a more home-like environment could make. Seniors were able to age in place with dignity, joy, and connection. I realized there were so many better options than what my dad had — options that allowed families to step back into the role of simply being family again, not full-time caregivers and managers. That realization lit a fire in me.
Over the last 14 years, I’ve helped thousands of seniors and their families find not just “a place,” but the right place where their loved one could thrive. I’ve learned that this journey is emotional and overwhelming, and I pride myself on becoming a trusted friend and guide. My joy comes from walking alongside families and holding their hand from start to finish.
When I worked as a Director of Sales in senior living, I often had to refer families to other communities because mine wasn’t always the right fit. While I was happy to do so, I wanted the ability to help every family, no matter what their needs were. That’s why I started Heartfelt Senior Solutions — so I could provide truly personalized guidance without being tied to a single community.
Gary's Story
Shortly after Gary and I married, I started working in senior living. Gary has always been active, health-conscious, and passionate about fitness. As a personal trainer, he led senior fitness classes at a local senior center, and I saw the joy and connection he brought to every group he worked with. His heart for seniors was clear, and our passions blended naturally.
Gary is also a proud U.S. Army veteran who served during Desert Storm in Saudi Arabia and Iraq. His military background gives him a special connection with other veterans and their families — one that goes beyond words. His ability to relate to veterans on a deeper level is a unique gift we bring to the families we serve.
